Specialist Disability Accommodation · Melbourne & Victoria
Accessible homes, built with dignity.
Angelica Group designs and builds Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and accessible housing for NDIS participants — homes that are safe, beautiful and genuinely suited to how people live.
Working in partnership
Proudly working with LifeCare Assist
We work alongside LifeCare Assist, a registered Specialist Disability Accommodation provider, to deliver homes across all four SDA design categories — from finding the right funding pathway to a finished home that's ready to live in.
Registered SDA provider
LifeCare Assist handles SDA enrolment and provider responsibilities, so the home we build can be lived in without delay.
End-to-end support
Together we cover the whole journey — funding guidance, design to the right category, construction, and handover.
One coordinated team
Builder and provider working in step means clearer communication and fewer gaps for participants and their support teams.
Who we are
A builder that puts the participant first
We specialise in housing for people with disability and complex support needs. That focus shapes every decision — from the width of a doorway to the position of a light switch — so the finished home works for the person living in it and the people who support them.
We work alongside NDIS participants, families, support coordinators, plan managers and providers across Melbourne and greater Victoria, translating SDA design requirements into homes that feel warm rather than clinical.
Who we serve
Built for participants, with everyone who supports them
Specialist housing is a team effort. We make the building part clear and well-managed for everyone involved.
Participants
A home designed around your goals, routines and support needs — not a one-size-fits-all build.
Families
Plain-language guidance through an unfamiliar process, with a build you can trust will last.
Support coordinators
A reliable building partner who understands SDA design standards and keeps you informed.
Plan managers & providers
Clear documentation and a build process that aligns with SDA design and enrolment requirements.
SDA design categories
Four ways a home can be built to support you
SDA homes are built to one of four design categories set by the NDIS. Here's what each one means in everyday terms.

Homes with better physical access and features that help people with sensory, intellectual or cognitive disability.

Why Angelica Group
Quality you can rely on, care you can feel
Specialist housing only works when the build quality matches the design intent. We hold ourselves to both.
- Built to Victorian building standards, with quality at every stage
- Builds aligned with the NDIS SDA Design Standard and category requirements
- Accessibility designed in from the first sketch — never bolted on later
- Clear, jargon-free communication with participants, families and coordinators
- Durable materials and finishes chosen for long-term, low-maintenance living
- Local team across Melbourne and greater Victoria
A note on funding and eligibility. Whether a participant is eligible for SDA funding, and at what level, is decided by the NDIS and the participant's planner — not by a builder. Angelica Group builds the home; we don't determine your funding. We're happy to work with your support coordinator and SDA provider so the home we build matches what's in your plan.
