About Angelica Group

Homes that help people live the life they choose.

We're a Melbourne building team with a single focus: high-quality, accessible housing for people with disability. Everything we do is shaped by the people who will live in the homes we build.

Our story

A mission that's personal

Our mission is to help people live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes.

Inspired by my experience caring for my elderly grandparents and witnessing the daily challenges they faced, I saw firsthand how difficult simple everyday tasks could become. That experience sparked a passion for helping others maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

We're committed to creating practical, accessible solutions that make life easier, restore confidence, and provide peace of mind for individuals and their families.

Our values

What we hold ourselves to

Dignity first

We use person-first language and design choices that treat residents as people with preferences, not a list of needs.

Accessibility by design

Access is planned from the first sketch — it's the foundation of the design, never an afterthought added at the end.

Build quality that lasts

Specialist homes get used hard. We choose durable, low-maintenance materials so they stay safe and comfortable for years.

Plain communication

NDIS and SDA come with a lot of jargon. We explain things clearly to participants, families and coordinators alike.

Collaboration

We work openly with support coordinators, plan managers, occupational therapists and SDA providers — including our partner LifeCare Assist — throughout.

Local accountability

We're a Victorian team building in Victorian communities — reachable, accountable and on the ground.

Standards & quality

Built properly, to the right standards

We build to Victorian building standards and align our SDA work with the NDIS SDA Design Standard, so every home is both compliant and genuinely good to live in.

  • Built to Victorian building standards
  • Aligned with the NDIS SDA Design Standard
  • Accessibility designed in from the first sketch
  • Durable, low-maintenance materials chosen for long-term living

Note: Angelica Group is a building company. We are not an SDA provider or enrolment service, and we don't assess NDIS eligibility. We build the home and work alongside your registered SDA provider.

Why NDIS & SDA

Why we focus on disability housing

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funds supports for eligible Australians with disability. For some participants with very high or complex needs, that can include Specialist Disability Accommodation — purpose-built housing designed to make everyday living safer and more independent.

Demand for well-built SDA far outstrips supply, and too many participants wait a long time for a home that truly fits. We focus here because it's where good building makes the biggest difference to someone's daily life — more independence, better support, and a place that feels like their own.
